5Never had a leak.

By Rising Ren

These are plain and simply the best diapers on the market. I can't say nearly as much for regular Pampers, Huggies, or even Luvs. We tried every brand available when my son was born a size preemie - nothing would fit on him, and everything leaked! We had our hospital guests running out for us to find us preemie onsies, sleepers, and diapers. Then we finally decided to try these, and they still fit him, no matter what he's growing like at the time. They're super stretchy and the softest diaper I've felt. Nothing scratchy touching the baby, and since they stretch and fit comfortably snug no matter what, you never have a pile of left over diapers that don't fit him anymore, when they go up to a new size. They fit till the end, and they overlap each other in size rage so there are no weird periods of growth when he's an 'in-between' size. They are also SUPER absorbant. We've changed more than one leak from Huggies, (regular) Pampers, and Luvs and most of them were all from 'weird angle!' accidents and the diapers were barely wet. With Swaddlers you go to change the diaper and it's as heavy as a softball and you're just flabberghasted. They pull everything away from his skin, and are just plain and simple = wonderful.

5Spend a bit to save baby's clothes!

By N. Gautreaux

I am always trying to get the best value for my dollar so at first I only bought whatever brand of diapers I had a coupon for. These are the only ones that never leaked. Also, I wanted to use up all the luvs and huggies I got for gifts but I wish I had just spent the money for these. I ruined so many outfits and had to do the full poopy dipe change (sheets, blankets, etc.) in the middle of the night so many times with him in other diapers. For a while anyone who was holding him would panic if they heard or smelled anything because those other diapers wouldn't hold his forceful breastfed pooh. These only leak occassionally. I guess no diaper is perfect. Also, the mesh is AMAZING. His butt is almost CLEAN after a blowout. So, he has never had diaper rash. You wont have to worry about your baby sitting in "flesh eating acid", as we jokingly refer to baby pooh as, if you cant change it the seconds after they go. I cant believe I am reviewing a diaper, but we are so pleased with these.

5THE BEST!!!!!

By chimene hurst

Just had to had my 2 cents here about this diaper. My 4 month old son has been in the swaddlers since his premature birth and he truly has not had one single diaper leak yet! He is my 3rd child and once again, I have found myself a true Pampers fan!

I agree with the other reviewer that noted how well these diapers fit. All 3 of my children have been different weights and body frames, yet Pampers has been the best fit for all of them!

I Love them!

5Excellent value, does the job perfectly!

By MeliBee

Luvs are the cheapest diapers I have found thus far, and I have researched prices quite a bit. It is very important to me to save as much money as I can on diapers because they are a constant expense. We thought we were getting the cheapest diapers by purchasing the store brand (Kirkland Signature Supreme Baby Diapers (Size 3, Quantity 208)) at Costco. However, Amazon beats all store brands in price as long as you take advantage of Subscribe & Save. (We still use the Costco brand wipes, which are fantastic and economical: Kirkland Premium Baby Wipes - 900 Count)

Not only are Luvs the least expensive diapers I have come across, they are great quality. The thing I like about them the most is that they are very thin, especially when compared to the Kirkland diapers. They allow my baby to move freely and he does not feel so bulky. The stretchy sides are also well-constructed; they provide enough give while still having a snug fit. We have never had a leak in Luvs diapers, and we have gone through two 200+ boxes of them by now. My baby sleeps 12+ hours overnight and we have never had an accident.

One feature of Luvs worth noting; they have a powder-like scent. When I first got them I was hesitant about the smell, but I quickly got used to it. The scent is strongest when you first open the plastic package of diapers. It will dissipate a bit if you remove them from the plastic packaging and let them air out in a diaper stacker or in your changing table.

Luvs are fantastic because you can get an inexpensive diaper without sacrificing quality.

3Disappointed in price hike!

I am very disappointed in the price hike on the luvs diapers. They are identical to the diapers they had before, other than 18 more in the package. I can understand an increase in price since there are more diapers in the package, but its a big increase. Here are some round about figures to get an idea: These numbers are based on the size 5 pack.

The old pricing was: $35.05 before S&S and after was $24.53 and you got free 2 day prime shipping for 150 count box

The new pricing is: $42.99 before S&S and after is $30.09 and free 3-5 day shipping for a 168 count box. (you can get free 2 day if you drop one of the 15% discounts)
To sum it all up, that is an increase of 23% before S&S and 20% increase after S&S for only an 8% increase in diapers received.

I can go to the store now and buy them on sale with coupons at about the same price, if not better. I stopped looking at diaper deals in store because the deal was so good on here, but with the new pricing on the same product, I will be looking at the store ads again. I think luvs is a great product, but disappointed in the price. And no more amazon diaper codes either. Hmmmmm....

I'd been a loyal Pampers consumer since my daughter was in size newborn Swaddlers and the prospect of their Dry Max technology enticed me when it was introduced. My daughter was at the age where overnight diapers had become a necessity and I loved the notion that the Baby Dry line had been improved upon.

I learned, or rather she learned, very quickly that Dry Max was unfortunately not an improvement. She was wearing a size 3 at the time and began to wake up every morning soaked from mid-chest to knees. I assumed that she needed a size 4 for overnight and while the leaks didn't occur as regularly, there were still 2-4 mornings a week when she'd wake up soaked to the bone. I had purchased a small package and decided that once I had used the last one I was going to switch brands; I should have done so sooner.

The first thing that I noticed one morning was that the left seam of her Extra Protection diaper had come undone. There were small gel beads all over her bedding and her, and when I removed her pajama bottoms and diaper I was in shock. Her stomach, bottom and thighs were covered in red welts with some areas more inflamed than others and others that had the appearance of a typical but severe diaper rash. I had never seen anything like it; she screamed when I wiped, screamed when she sat, screamed when she moved. Motrin had no effect so I made an appointment with her pediatrician for that afternoon and he too was shocked. As it turned out it wasn't welts nor was it a rash - she had suffered caustic burns from the Dry Max beads.

I was livid and called Pampers immediately. They in turn asked for a release of her medical records for that appointment and I gave her pediatrician the okay to do so. I received a letter and 52 coupons for free diapers, their obvious attempt to bring me back as a consumer. I haven't purchased a single Pampers product since.

Please use this with caution. My daughter isn't the only one who this happened to and that in and of itself is a very unsettling fact.

5Pampers delivers, again!

By J. Rivera

In the days before ordering these new diapers, my baby's "Dry Max" Pampers were being pushed to the limit during the night, sometimes resulting in an accident. After using the new Extra Protection Pampers I am happy to report that, after 12 hours, this Pamper held its own, no leaks, no accidents, while it looks it can go for a few hours more! When you open these Pampers you can see that they have added a huge piece of absorbent material on it that is not bulky, resulting in a Pamper that is still thin. It looks like one of the other normal Pampers, but with a huge absorbent capacity. I'm a believer. Hope this helps!

5Overnight Diapers a dream and save laundry

By K. Lostetter

These diapers work great. No more changing onesies first thing in the morning. Only thing is if the jellies start to come out there is a big mess on your hands but this rarely happens. I've been using these on my twins since they turned 5 months. They also work great if you are going on long trips.

2No go for our 4 month old

By M. Kelley

We have always used Pampers since our first boy was born. Luckily our 3 year old was just coming out of diapers when our second boy was born so we only had to deal with changing one set! We used the original Crusiers when my 3 year old was still in them so it only made sense to use these when our little one got big enough to graduate to the bigger sizes.

The first thing we noticed is that are definitely thinner than the Cruisers we used with our first son. But we know "technology" does improve over time so maybe thinner is better. Unfortunately for us, we only got through a few of the diapers before our son started breaking out in a weird rash using these diapers. We talked with some friends that had tried them and a few of them also ran into the same problems.

We quickly swithced to a store generic brand (Target) which we had never used before and the rash quickly went away. While we can't be 100% sure if the Crusiers caused the weird rash since my wife refuses to try them again, I can only assume that they are the cause based on what we've heard from othersa long with reviews here.

On a positive note, for the 4 or so diapers we did try, they seemd to hold up very well with no leaks. Just wish my son didn't have a reaction from them. Lucky for us, switching to the Target brand has seemed to work fine and they cost 1/3 of the name brands.

2Not Swaddlers

By Mommy D

These diapers do not represent the Pampers brand well at all. I recently switched from Pamper Swaddlers to Crusiers and wish I did not have to switch. These diapers have no mesh in them to keep the baby dry. They leak everything everywhere. Not happy at all!

1Bad product in Size 4

We used and enjoyed Dry Max technology on sizes 1, 1-2 and 2-3. When we switched to #4 the diapers leaked all the time; at least twice per night the baby would be completely wet. The diaper seemed to stay unused. We switched back to leftover 2-3 size with no leaking and hefty load in the morning. It seems that Pampers did not faithfully implemented DryMax on size 4 despite the claim. I will not recommend.
